VSS is proud to introduce Undergraduate Travel Award.
VSS has been increasing its efforts to attract undergraduate students to the annual meeting, including the Undergraduate Just-in-Time poster session and the Undergraduate Meet and Greet event. Now, we are asking those members who would like to support the future of our field by contributing directly to support travel expenses, registration fees, and accommodation for our deserving undergraduate students. By making a tax-deductible donation (for US taxpayers), you become a catalyst for the growth and development of young talent in our community.
Recipients of an award will be selected by the Travel Awards committee, consisting of VSS board members. Awardees will be selected primarily on the basis of financial need. However, by actively encouraging applications from individuals of underrepresented backgrounds, including but not limited to those from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, socioeconomic statuses, and geographical locations, we aim to create a richer and more vibrant vision sciences community.

Only Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, and Postdocs who indicated they intended to apply for a Travel Grant during the abstract submission process will see the Travel Grant information on their account home page.
